Start with the basics and get the most out of your Pilates Mat Classes! You will learn the fundamentals and proper technique of Pilates, focusing on body connections, breathing, alignment and awareness. Learn how to identify your own weaknesses and imbalances and work with them to restore healthier movement. This class is great for newcomers to Pilates, who want to get the most out of mat class, and for those who want to refine their knowledge, understanding and ability.

 This Classical mat class offers the funadmentals up to mat 3 exercises.  Great for those familiar with Pilates to an intermediate level. The instructor will modify by adjusting each series to your working level.  (mat 1-2-3) The core and back focus will help improve stability, flexibility, and dynamic balance.  Ideally you have taken  Pilates Essentials.

Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 5:30 pm

Challenge: 3.5/5 


 This class is the perfect blend of deep muscle toning, stretching, balancing that will pump up your heart rate and burn fat! Barre incorporates the fluidity of ballet, the flexibility of yoga, and the core strengthening of Pilates. It is a structured, easy-to-follow total body workout. This low impact workout combines body weight exercises with other props to ensure you get a challenging workout every time! 

*wear fitted pants,  socks or bare feet. Bring mat and water bottle.

  Offered at Rivermist Community Clubhouse, an  invigorating and calming class that includes breathing, gentle flowing movements, passive and supported poses. This is a perfect beginning yoga class or for someone that prefers a gentle pace. 

*Comfortable clothing, preferably fitted pants. Bring mat and water bottle.

 A combination of classical and contemporary Pilates level 2/3 exercises along with Barre sculpting movements will get your body strong and defined. Each class will use  light weights and props to sculpt the whole body with a focus of the Flow principle of Pilates. Seamless transition for a non-stop challenging workout.  Previous  mat Pilates experience is recommended.

Both the session format and the exercises given are tailored to suit your needs and objectives. These sessions allow for time to introduce the Pilates Method to those that are new as well as greater progression and development.

Duet Sessions prior experience is required.
